     "My images combine two loves: watercolor painting and photography.  I shoot most subjects by natural light and apply various textures and grunge layers in CS4.  These textures are created by combining separate photographs of peeling paint, dirty snow, cracked pavement, etc.  For backgrounds I use a roll of simple brown paper or various fabrics.  The finished print is the result of a process of techniques I experiment with as I go along, to see where it leads,  I'm inspired by the seasons and landscapes of New England; often I'm drawn to the less-than-perfect flower in the bunch, the tattered one that seems to tell a tale..."
