Painting has always been a part of my life.  I find that I have come full circle; as a child I did pastels with my grandmother and now I paint with my grandchildren.  Where ever I go I am always seeing potential paintings.  Traditional subjects such as landscapes and still lifes are always of interest, however rooster and chickens, nests and eggs also appear in my work.  Fruits and vegetables have found their way into my subject matter.  At times they are found in traditional still lifes but recently I have found pleasure in painting them larger than life.  By making them bigger than life the colors and textures are intensified and bring a new bit of excitement to the work.
