"As I work, I am constantly reexamining, rearranging, seeking the essence, the basic line, form and/or color which creates visual excitement.  At the same time I hope to provide a feeling of serenity a tranquil respite from the hectic pace of life today.  In all my work I strive to fuel the soul and the eye."
