Everyday Artifact, LLC. is the cottage industry of husband and wife Jeff Ryan and Barbara Edelman. They started in 1989 with the goal of creating a product line that is meaningful, minimal and affordable. They began experimenting with ways of applying images onto various types of metal.  Out of these experiments emerged the Simple Sterling (tm) line of necklaces and earrings. In pairing a clean combination of materials (sterling silver, jewelry resin and nylon cords) with iconic images and heartfelt words we strive to capture a depth of memory, thought and emotion. They make everything in their Santa Fe, New Mexico studio using methods and materials with low impact on the environment, but hopefully high impact on the human spirit.
